1. What is BG Stat Tracker?

BG Stat Tracker is a simple, intuitive utility app designed to help board game players track health, life points, or scores for 2 to 8 players. It features customizable player names, colors, and starting health values.SCore

2. How do I change a player's health?

Decrease Health: Tap the buttons on the left side of the player's area (upside-down view) or use the 1 / 5 buttons in the adjustment modal.
Increase Health: Tap the buttons on the right side or use the +1 / +5 buttons in the adjustment modal.
Custom Amount: Tap on a player's area to open the detailed view, where you can enter a custom number to add or subtract.

3. Can I play with more than 4 players?

Yes! BG Stat Tracker supports up to 8 players. You can adjust the player count on the setup screen before starting a game.

4. How does the "Team" feature work?

On the setup screen, you can assign players to teams (1-4). Players on the same team will automatically share the same team color (Red, Blue, Green, or Yellow) to make it easier to distinguish allies from enemies.

5. Can I customize player colors?

Yes. If a player is not assigned to a team, you can select from a preset list of primary colors or use the color picker (the + circle) to choose from a wider grid of colors.

6. Is my game data saved?

Currently, game data is stored temporarily while the app is open. If you fully close (kill) the app, the current game state may reset. We are working on persistent storage for future updates!

7. Does the app collect my data?

No. BG Health Tracker respects your privacy and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data. Everything stays on your device.

8. How do I reset the game?

Tap the small white button with the RESET located at the top right corner of the game screen. You will be asked to confirm before the game resets to the setup screen.
